Hello, my name is Carl. I got my first computer when I was five, and have been playing video games ever since. For the first ten years of my life, I lived near Newport, Oregon, and did school online. Now, it’s mostly just a giant blur, since there was basically no difference between one year and the next, just school, video games, and my friend, every year. Then I moved to Washington, and my life began. I went to LFP (Lake Forest Park Elementary) for 5th and 6th grade, which was very different than what I was used to. For example, there was an actual school building, a real teacher, other students, and no friend. However, I still had video games. I did make some friends in fifth grade, but they were both socially awkward nerds like me, so that didn’t go so well. My first experience with a “social life” was in the second half of eighth grade, three years later. One of my friends and his friends were planning on starting a D&D group, and I had a little experience, so I joined them. Now, I’m having fun in the Robotics club and playing video games.
