If you plan on participating in extracurricular activities, purchasing an ASB card will likely save you money while benefiting our school.

Costing $40.00 a year, The Shorecrest Associated Student Body (ASB) card provides students with discounts on school events throughout the year, one of the least expensive ASB fees in the region.

Whether or not a student should buy a card depends largely on their involvement in school events.  Any student who is in a sport, performance group, or club is required to have an ASB card as the profit generated is used to fund their activities.  But even if you are not a member of an extracurricular group, it can still be a worthwhile investment.

If you want to support Shorecrest sports teams, the ASB card allows free entry to all home sporting events, which would otherwise be $6.00.  If you plan on attending the school’s dances, you can save $2.00 to $10.00  on each ticket.  In addition, you can also save $2.00 to $5.00 on tickets for the school plays and other performances.  It even decreases the price of a $65.00 Annual by $10.00! It is easy to see how quickly the savings can surpass the initial fee.

Even if you’re not going to every dance and sports game, purchasing an ASB card benefits the school.  Money earned from the sale of ASB cards goes to help aid school extracurricular groups such as clubs and sports, helping pay for busses, supervision, paper, and other materials critical to helping students have a vibrant extracurricular experience during their time at Shorecrest.
